After 20:00 o’clock from Miljacka River near East Sarajevo a car was pulled out, with four women inside. The car accident happened near Pale around 13:00 o’clock on Friday, was confirmed to News Agency Patria by the spokeswoman of the Police Administration of Eastern Sarajevo, Vesna Stokovic.
Rescue teams and divers all day spent on the field looking for a car that was under water.
The rain that was falling all day made it difficult to find a car and approach the place of the accident. The four women who were found dead were employees of the Kovacici Elementary School in Sarajevo. They came back from the burial of a former colleague.
Participants of the rescue team were the Mountain Rescue Service of Sarajevo, members of the Civil Protection Administration, the RS Interior Ministry, and firefighters from Sarajevo and Pale.
