It is recommended that the US impose a 50 percent tariff on imports from the EU starting June 1, due to difficulties in trade negotiations, US President Donald Trump said.
He wrote on the Trut Social network that discussions with the EU are going nowhere, TASS reported.
“Our discussions with them are going nowhere. That is why I am proposing a 50 percent tariff on the EU, starting June 1,” Trump said.
