TV Anchor who was Synonymous for the Weather Forecast in Yugoslavia passed away

Famous TV anchor Kamenko Katic passed away at the age of 83.

He is one of the first and most famous reporters of weather forecast in this region.

Kamenko Katic was born in the village of Djurdjevo near Novi Sad in 1935.

He attended the Real Gymnasium in Novi Sad, but he graduated from a veterinary school in Sabac and worked as a veterinarian.

He became a newspresenter on Radio Titograd during his studies, and later on Radio Sarajevo.

He started working at TV Belgrade back in 1962. He realized more than 300 reportages during his career as author, anchor and editor.

Exact time and place of the burial will be announced in the next few days.
