Heavy rains caused numerous problems in the area of the city of Prijedor, and in some settlements water penetrated into houses and auxiliary facilities.
The Civil Protection announced that about 200 buildings were flooded.
The flood occurred because in some settlements the issue of surface water drainage and adequate cleaning of riverbeds has not been resolved.
In order to protect residential buildings, the Civil Protection intervened and set up sand embankments.
