Two killed, around 80 injured in Bus Overturn in Serbia

Two people were killed when a bus overturned on the road from Sremska Mitrovica to the village of Jarak, in western Serbia.

Around 80 people were injured, RTS reported. The accident occurred at 2:45 p.m. when a bus operated by the company “Sirmium Bus” carrying workers from the company “Heltcare” veered off the road and overturned onto its roof for reasons that are currently unknown.

The injured are being taken to the hospital in Sremska Mitrovica, the director of the facility confirmed to RTS.

Ambulance and police teams are on the scene.
