hamdijaAn extraordinary session of the Una-Sana Canton (USK) will be held tonight at 20:00, announced at today’s session of the Assembly, which was attended by an informal group of citizens in front of the protestors, and who asked for the session to be held.

At the session, they will decide on the 13 requests sent to them by the protestors, which include the immediate resignation of the Prime Minister Hamdija Lipovača and the USK government, and all directors of public institutions and companies.

Even if the session was scheduled to take place on Monday, representatives of the protestors demanded that it occur tonight, which was unanimously accepted.

Meanwhile, the Prime Minister of the Una-Sana Canton Hamdija Lipovača said at today’s press conference in Bihać that he would not resign as Prime Minister.

He stressed that ‘’the police would not tolerate beatings any longer’’. He said that the media bears some responsibility due to the fact that protestors gathered near his house and tried to throw rocks at it.
