On Tuesday morning, the BiH national football team is to play in the finals of the Kirin Cup against the hosts, the national team of Japan.
This will be a coach clash between the masters of BiH football – the coach of the Dragons Mehmed Baždarević and the coach of the national team of Japan, Vahid Halilhodžić.
35 years ago, the legends of BiH were playing the main role, but as players in the finals of the Cup of Marshal Tito.
In a spectacular match between Velež and Željezničar, both of them scored one goal for their teams in the only BiH finals in the history of the Yugoslav Cup.
On that May 24, 1981 the cup went to Mostar thanks to the decisive goal by Dragan Okuka (3:2) at the end of the match.
Let’s hope that Meša will collect the 35 year old debt on Tuesday.
