aidaThe famous Vienna pastry shop “Aida”, is going to open its shops in the Balkans. Two young Croatian boys opened the first branch of “Aida” during the summer in Zagreb and it is expected that Sarajevo will get its first “Aida” in April.

According to the “Aida” Head of Marketing, Dominik Prousek, two young B&H entrepreneurs have bought the rights to open the first branches of “Aida” in many cities in B&H.

Irfan Oručević, one of the B&H entrepreneurs said that 2 million Euros will be invested in opening various branches next years. Shops will open in Sarajevo, Banja Luka, Međugorje and in other cities in B&H.

Currently the search is ongoing for the appropriate premises to open the shops. However, cakes and sweets will continue to be produced in Austria.

Every 10-14 days, “Aida” delivers about 800 kilograms of cakes to Zagreb. The distribution chain from now on could be extended to Sarajevo.

“Aida” currently has 32 pastry shops, announced the Press Office of Vienna City for B&H.
