Viktor Orbán visits Milorad Dodik

Viktor Orbán and his wife visited Milorad Dodik and his family this evening, the SNSD president announced on the social network X.

“My family and I are honored by the visit of great friends this evening – Viktor Orbán and his wife,” Dodik wrote.

He also spoke highly of the friendship he shares with the Hungarian leader.

“True friends are friends for life, and my friend Viktor and his family are exactly that kind of friend,” Dodik stated.

What connects Dodik and Orbán is the fact that both have recently lost their official positions.
Until the elections in Hungary this April, Orbán served as the country’s Prime Minister; however, his party, Fidesz, was defeated by the Tisza party, led by the current Prime Minister, Péter Magyar.

Meanwhile, Dodik lost his position as President of Republika Srpska in July of last year, when he was removed from office following a final, binding verdict by the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina. He was convicted for violating a provision of the Criminal Code regarding the failure to implement decisions made by the High Representative in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
