Visit to EUFOR Command in Camp ‘Butmir’

EUFORThe Chair of the Joint Commission for Defense and Security of BiH Dušanka Majkić visited EUFOR Command in Camp ‘Butmir’.

She spoke with the Commander of EUFOR General Major Dieter Heidecker and his colleagues, and the newly named NATO Commander in Sarajevo Brigadier General Merle Hart attended.

They exchange opinions on the defense sector, the realization of the international project ‘Explode’ that EUFOR, OSCE Mission to BiH and UNDP is realizing with the Ministry of Defense and BiH Armed Forces.

They also spoke of the current activities in the demining process, ‘Defense Review’ and the process of destroying surplus and obsolete ammunition and mine explosives for the purpose of public safety of citizens, and the necessity of more activities of all entities that are responsible for this process was highlighted, announced the BIH Parliament.
