stadiumIn the middle of this year started works on the project of construction of modern football stadium on Mount Vlasic, with dimensions 90 × 60 which is in accordance with FIFA standards.

The stadium will be constructed on Babanovac plateau, on the place of the former football stadium, which was used as a parking space of SFOR since the end of the war.

The works are funded by OZON Ltd. Travnik, and in the project was invested 2.5 million BAM.

“Artificial grass at the stadium is also in the accordance with FIFA standards, and a trail with dimensions of 2.5 meters on each side is planned as well as a fence on the edges. In the basement of the football stadium will be built garages and offices, as well as the stands and locker rooms for the players. We hired all available machinery, our employees, and additional necessary personnel to be able to complete works on time, and in order for our guests to have such facility at disposal as soon as possible” as stated from OZON company.

They added that during preparatory works, they had to dig up and drag more than 50,000 m3 of soil, which speaks enough about the extent of the work that they are doing.

Otherwise, final earthworks, i.e. foundations, are currently taking place and now they will start assembling reinforced concrete construction of the stadium.

“OZON Ltd. Travnik is investing a lot of effort into development projects, including the plan to extend the range of accommodation and restaurants, existing and new ski trails and improvement of vertical transport through the implementation of ski lift (four-seater Babanovac),” said investors.

Moreover, sports tourism on Mount Vlasic attracts an increasing number of guests every year and occupies one of the most important tourist destinations in the Central Bosnia Canton.
