Vucic about coming to Srebrenica novosti.rsSpecial guest of the political leadership of Republika Srpska at the opening of the motorway Prnjavor-Doboj was the Prime Minister of the Republic of Serbia Aleksandar Vučić.

Vučić congratulated the citizens of Republika Srpska on the first 36 kilometers of the motorway Banja Luka – Doboj, pointing out its importance for the future of this BiH entity.

Moreover, Vučić invited the leadership of RS to interpret the motorway as a chance for improvement of the life of citizens in the RS, adding that motorways must not be used for other purposes, such as violation of peace.

“The peace is more important now than it ever was. Motorways are not built so that tanks can ride on them. What is important is that this road will connect you with Sarajevo, because that means business. We must be well aware of what our goal is, and that is why I kindly invite the leadership of RS to reduce tensions because progress is better achieved in peace. Respect the past, but also respect the past of others,” said the Prime Minister of Serbia.

In the end, Vučić added that the leadership in Belgrade appreciates partners from BiH, but that this does not mean that the RS should doubt the affection of Serbia for that BiH entity.
