The average monthly paid net salary for April 2023 in the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina (FBiH) is 1,233 BAMand is nominally lower by 2.5 percent and in real terms lower by 2.4 percent compared to the previous month.

It should be noted that the salary has been constantly growing lately. It seems that now there has been an end, or at least a pause in that trend.

Compared to the same month of the previous year, the average monthly net salary for April 2023 is nominally higher by 14.2 percent and in real terms higher by 6.8 percent, according to data from the FBiH Bureau of Statistics.

In April, compared to March, the largest increase in the average monthly salary was recorded in the arts, entertainment and recreation activities by 2.5 percent; real estate business by 2.3 percent and financial and insurance activities by 1.3 percent.

At the same time, the largest decrease was recorded in the activities of production and supply of electricity, gas, steam and air conditioning by 10.2 percent, agriculture, forestry and fishing by 9.8 percent, and health and social protection activities by 6.3 percent, Biznis Info reports.
