Vice President of the United States Kamala Harris said that the administration of President Joseph Biden is ready to support Ukraine in its war with Russia “as long as it takes” and that it will advocate that Russia pay reparations to Ukraine after the war.

“We will continue our efforts to secure a just and lasting peace. We will work to get Russia to pay reparations to Ukraine,” Harris said at a joint press conference with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky at the annual Munich Security Conference.

She added that she will continue to work with Biden to provide the resources and weapons that Kyiv needs to succeed.

“We will be with you as long as it takes,” Harris said.
