novalic (1)The delegation of B&H consisting of Entity Prime Ministers Fadil Novalic and Zeljka Cvijanovic, Minister of Foreign Affairs Igor Crnadak and businessman Mujo Selimovic, are staying in Washington, where they attended the National Prayer Breakfast, which was organized by the administration of US President.

Novalic and Cvijanovic met with representatives of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) and the World Bank in Washington. They started talks on a new arrangement with the IMF, which should be amounting more than one billion BAM.

“We attended the technical meeting with the IMF, where under the impression that the negotiations related to the arrangement lost the dynamics, we negotiated about the 12 previous and 24 structural measures that have not been agreed yet. The result of these discussions are clearly defined remaining activities that can be done in the next three weeks so that they can send their technical mission in B&H in order to conclude the arrangement,” said Novalic.

At the meeting with representatives of the World Bank they discussed the strategy and financial institutions for B&H until 2020, the priorities regarding the technical assistance in various fields, as well as on financial support for projects that are supporting economic growth in B&H. The meetings were constructive, according to Novalic.

Minister Crnadak said that B&H. delegation is waiting for the meeting with Victoria Nuland, Assistant Secretary of State for European and Eurasian Affairs at the United States Department of State, where they will talk about the relations between the two countries and the support of the US to European integration and reforms in our country.
