12935307_1145857778798510_852829999_nEvery year, the “ordinary” citizens whose average income amounts to around 800 BAM remain in shock after hearing the numbers of income of certain individuals.

According to the data from the Tax Administration of FBiH, the highest salary in 2015 was paid in the banking sector and it amounted to as much as 35.314 BAM!

When compared with the average wage paid in November last year, precisely with the amount of 826 BAM, the result shows that the highest wage paid is by 42 times higher than the average wage.

The situation in the RS is no different. Thus, one man from Zvornik employed in processing industry earned nearly 41.000 BAM in November last year, precisely 40.850 BAM or 50 average wages in the RS.

The remaining eight places among the top ten highest earnings are taken by employees in financial sector in Banja Luka, whose income exceeds the amount of 10.000 Bam. Following the man from Zvornik, in the financial sector there are two men from Banja Luka with wages amounting to 39.000 BAM and nearly 36.000 BAM.

Union associations of the RS stated that it is most probably that this is about manager contracts, because according to collective contracts and the Law on Wages an employee cannot receive such a high salary.

Among the best paid professions in the category of top 10 most wanted professions in 2015 are developer (1.410 BAM) and a construction engineer (1.103 BAM).

According to the latest data from the Agency for Statistics of BiH, the average net wage in BiH in December last year amounted to 842 BAM.

Minimal wage amounted to 521 BAM in activities of providing accommodation and preparing and serving food, while the highest wage amounted to 1.367 BAM and was paid in financial activities and insurance activities.
