What is the Average monthly paid net Salary in BiH?

The average monthly paid net salary per employee for August 2023 in the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina was 1,281 BAM and is nominally higher by 1.9 percent, and in real terms by 1.0 percent, compared to the previous month.

Compared to the same month of the previous year, the average paid net salary for August 2023 is nominally higher by 12.6 percent, and in real terms higher by 8.7 percent.

The analysis of data by activities of the KDBiH 2010 shows that in August 2023, compared to July of the same year, the largest increase in the average monthly paid net salary was recorded in the activities Production and supply of electricity, gas,
steam and air conditioning by 7.1 percent and Health and social protection activities by 6.8 percent.

At the same time, the largest decrease in the average monthly net salary paid
it was recorded in: Financial and insurance activities by 3.1 percent and Other service activities by 2.4 percent.

The average monthly gross salary paid per employee for August 2023 in the Federation of BiH was 1,991 BAM and is nominally higher by 2.1 percent, and in real terms by 1.1 percent compared to the previous month.

Compared to the same month of the previous year, the average gross salary of employees for August 2023 is nominally higher by 13.1 percent, and in real terms higher by 9.1 percent, according to data from the Federal Bureau of Statistics.
