What is the Average Net Salary per Employee in BiH?

The average monthly net salary paid per employee for February 2023 in the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina was 1,193 BAM, according to data from the Federal Bureau of Statistics.

The average monthly paid net salary for February is nominally lower by 1.2 percent, and in real terms by 1.3 percent, compared to the previous month.

Compared to the same month of the previous year, the average monthly net salary paid per employee for February 2023 is nominally higher by 14.1 percent, and in real terms by 0.9 percent.

The average monthly gross salary paid per employee for February 2023 in FBiH was 1,849 BAM, nominally lower by 1.4 percent, and in real terms by 1.5 percent compared to the previous month.

Compared to the same month of the previous year, the average monthly gross salary paid per employee for February 2023 is nominally higher by 14.6 percent, and in real terms by 1.4 percent.

In February 2023, the total number of employees in the Federation of BiH was 537,270. Compared to the previous month, the number of employees increased by 0.2 percent and the number of employed women by 0.4 percent.
