The High Judicial and Prosecutorial Council of Bosnia and Herzegovina announced on the occasion of frequent announcements by the Prosecutor of the Prosecutor’s Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina and former Chief Prosecutor of the Prosecutor’s Office Gordana Tadic on the social network Facebook, which are then distributed and published on portals in other BiH media.

Regarding the meeting mentioned in Gordana Tadić’s Facebook post on April 19 this year, the HJPC wants to point out that the meeting was held based on the conclusion of the HJPC session, and that the invitation to the meeting was sent on January 20, 2021, while the meeting held on January 27, 2021 in the premises of the HJPC BiH.

The topic of the meeting was better cooperation between heads of judicial institutions at the level of Bosnia and Herzegovina, and in addition to Gordana Tadic, the meeting was attended by seven members of the HJPC BiH, President of the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina and senior international legal expert.

“The mentioned meeting was recorded, so there is an audio recording of the meeting which was sent to the Office of the Disciplinary Prosecutor, who previously informed the public that he had formed a case ex officio regarding the announcement of prosecutor Gordana Tadic. For this reason, the HJPC is not able to analyze and comment on the content of the audio recording before it is reviewed by the Office of the Disciplinary Prosecutor,” said the HJPC.

Regarding the Facebook post of Gordana Tadic from April 21 this year, in which she states her assessment of the work in the context of moving from the position of Chief Prosecutor of the Prosecutor’s Office of BiH to the position of Prosecutor of the Prosecutor’s Office of BiH, the HJPC BiH reminds the public that Gordana Tadic was not removed from the position due to performance appraisal.

“Gordana Tadic was transferred from the position of Chief Prosecutor of the Prosecutor’s Office of BiH to the position of Prosecutor in the said Prosecutor’s Office due to established disciplinary responsibility of the defendant because she failed to act in accordance with the relevant provisions of the TCMS (Automatic Case Management System). On December 17 and 18, 2014, and that contrary to the provisions of the Law on Protection of Classified Information of BiH, it failed to initiate the procedure of personal security checks of employees of the Prosecutor’s Office of BiH and act in accordance with the conclusion of the HJPC of BiH of July 17, 2019,” is said in a statement.

HJPCBiH adds that the assessment that Prosecutor Tadic mentions as a success in the paper is a matter of personal interpretation, bearing in mind that grades range in the following range – unsatisfactory performance of prosecutorial function (equivalent to grade 1), satisfactory performance of prosecutorial function (equivalent to grade 2), good performance prosecutorial function (equivalent to grade 3), successfully performs prosecutorial function (equivalent to grade 4), extremely successfully performs prosecutorial function (equivalent to grade 5).
