Winner of the SFF: I’ll keep the Award at Home, but also in the Heart

Winner SFF slobodnaevropa.org (1)The winning film of the 21st Sarajevo Film Festival “Mustang” was directed by the Turkish director Deniz Gamze Erguven.

The Heart of Sarajevo is going to Erguven’s home, and as she explained, she will keep this significant award at one more special place.

“Sarajevo means a lot to me. This city has always embodied the idea of coexistence, and it is a picture of one generation of directors. This is truly a great honor, and just the fact that I am talking about it makes me feel nice. I will keep the award at my home and in my heart”, said Erguven.
