book fair2This year’s 12th Winter Book Fair, organized by TKP “Sahinpasic”, was opened yesterday at the gallery “Collegium Artisticum” in Sarajevo and, as in previous years, it offers a variety of classic and new book editions with discounts from 10 to 80 %.

The first visitors received gift from organizers, including Dzevahira Bahlimanovac and Negra Ahmetspahic.

“I came at 9.30 am and waited for the official opening, because I heard that first visitors will receive symbolic gifts. I like to read, books are my best friends, and I am always visiting book fairs and checking out new editions” said Bahlimanovac who got a book “We were liars” by E. Lockhart.

“The Hundred-Year-Old Man Who Climbed Out the Window and Disappeared” by Jonas Jonasson went to Ahmetspahic who said that she was waiting for the fair since June, because she loves books, and she manages to buy something thanks to discount.

“My colleague and I arrived this morning at 8 am, because we thought that the fair will be opened, but we waited for two hours. Still, it was worth it because we got books that I consider as my best friends. Everyone should read more, and I prefer historical and romantic novels,” said Ahmetspahic.

Winter Book Fair will last until the 24th of December. Exhibitors will present their publications at a total of 52 stands.

“Winter Book Fair will last for 16 days. Exhibitors from BiH and the region will present their publications and all publishers of our country, the region and of course world’s largest publishers. There is an enormous number of titles here, a lot of novelties. Many colleagues tried to provide the best conditions for purchase,” said Ajdin Sahinpasic from TKD “Sahinpasic”.
