The wall of children’s wishes can be fond on the site zasvakodijete.ba, which gathered the wishes of children from B&H and decided to share it via electronic format, and the ‘wall’ toured a large part of B&H where children could write with markers what they wish.
Peace, health, playgrounds, no violence, clean environment and happiness are some of the basic wishes of every child, and portal zasvakodijete.ba showed some of the specific wishes of boys and girls who, even though they are young, have big and selfless wishes.
‘’Hello, I am writing to you because I have one wish. I know that the words of one boy cannot change something, but I also know that if my wish were to come true, then this world would become one big blue ball without a single blemish’’, writes Eldar in the beginning of his letter.
‘’Look at children today who want expensive telephones, bicycles and other things while children in Africa do not even have bread. Look at those children who want expensive and comfortable beds, apartments, while children in Gaza are dying en masse. No one cares that they are suffering every day while we are enjoying in our homes. But there is still a valuable thing-smiles! I just want to say that they are not forgotten, that there are still good people who wish good for themselves and for others’’, said Eldar, who said he is writing this to ‘’remind people what is happening in the world while they chase money and wealth’’.
Mihael said that he would ‘’like for there to be no school and for everyone in the world to be happy’’. Marija wants ‘’for everyone to have a family who loves them, and to have parents who will comfort them when they are sad’’.
‘’Hello. My wish is simple. I want love and peace to rule the world, but there is another one: I miss my childhood. Everyone is now on Facebook, no one wants to play. Everyone is after money and expensive things. Instead of toys, kids think a laptop is a toy. I would like for you to publish this’’, wrote Dora on the ‘wall of wishes’.
