President of RS Association of Fruit Producers Dragoja Dojčinović announced that Srbac, Gradiška, Laktaši and Kozarska Dubica are working on branding the region via a renowned German house, which would imply the branding for plum, apple and pickled cabbage .
Dojčinović added that this activity will be realised next year, and would secure the safe export of those products.
He added that BiH is importing huge amounts of apple, even though the domestic production is more than enough to satisfy the market.
Dojčinović said that RS produces around 3 000 wagons of apples a year, and added that the Association is working on forming the Association that deals with all fields of agriculture production of RS.
