Young Basketball Players BiH in the Second Round of the EC in Turkey

male basketball until 18 yearsThe young men’s junior basketball team of Bosnia and Herzegovina won the Czech Republic representation with the result of 72:65. With this result the representation of BiH qualified in the second round of the European Championship for players under 18 years in Konya (Turkey).

The chosen players by Dragan Bajić qualified the second round of the competition by winning the representation of Turkey and the Czech Republic. The only match representation of BiH lost was the one against the representation of Greece.

In today’s match against the representation of Czech Republic, the most effective player was Aleksandar Lazić with 20 points, while Djordje Aleksić added 14 points.

Bosnia and Herzegovina in Group C take second or third place, depending on the outcome of tonight’s match between Greece and Turkey.

In the group C, BiH will take second or third place, depending on the result of the match between Greece and Turkey.

In the second round of the EC Bosnia and Herzegovina will compete in Group E, and later will look for an opportunity to place in the quarter finals of the competition.
