A total of 1.230 BAM was collected for the Parents House on the humanitarian fashion show that was organized by the student of the Second Gymnasium in Sarajevo, Lamija Dervanovic, in cooperation with BH fashion designer Adela Hodzic on February 2.
“It was difficult to organize this project, but thanks to Adela and all the support I had, the result largely exceeded all of my expectations. People were happy to come and they had a lot of fun. I am really hoping that I will have the opportunity to work on the organization of similar events in the future, and this was interesting experience and I really learned a lot from it,” stated Lamija.
She noted that she will attend a meeting with representatives of the Parent’s House and that all the money that was collected on the fashion show will be donated.
Designer Adela Hodzic, who presented her new collection on this fashion show, was very happy and grateful for the opportunity to be part of this project.
“The most beautiful things is to be able to help others, and it was a real privilege for me to present my work and a new collection in this way. I have to praise Lamija, who is so young and she is already organizing events whose main aim is to help those who need it. I really hope that what we did here will give the idea to many people and that an increasing number of that kind of projects will be realized in the future,” stated Adela.
Klabika Collective was in charge for the music on this humanitarian fashion show for the Parent’s House, and Dalal Midhat was a special guest of this event. The official photos of the new collection for the season spring / summer 2018 that was presented at the fashion show, were done by BH photographer Vanja Lisac. Official photographs from the new collection of Adela Hodzic will be published soon.
