trebinje1In Trebinjet this year for the first time will be held “Trebinjska Gitarijada” (Trebinje Festival of Guitar).

The organizer of the first guitar festival, called “Mostock” which will be held on 7th  and8th  August on the garden of the Youth Center Trebinje, is the Public Institution of Youth Center, and the support is given by the City of Trebinje.

“Trebinjska Gitarijada” (Trebinje Festival of Guitar)  will bring together local and regional bands in order to promote “young” rock and roll bands,to promote their work, to connect young people of different religions and nationalities, to develop the alternative rock scene in Trebinje, RS and B&H and to encourage young people to engage in music.

The right to participate in this event has the rock and roll bands or groups of related genres, which have no yet any formal musical publication and which are active on the territory of the former Yugoslavia.

The administrative service of  City of  Trebinje believes that “Gitarijada” (The Festival of Guitar) is an event that completes the range of cultural events and tends to grow in a traditionally happening that brings together youth.
