Exhumations at the location Podrusnica, at Zuc Hill in the municipality of Vogosca, are finished. Complete remains of one victim that were on the ground surface were found.
According to the Institute for Missing Persons of BiH, remains belong to the victim from the previous war.
Spokeswoman of the Institute, Lejla Cengic, said that with the victim, except for parts of footwear and clothing, were also found personal documents, or membership card of independent trade unions of catering workers on the name of Kasim Golos.
“This is assumed identity. We will take bone samples in order to determine the exact identity on the basis of DNA analysis performed on the discovered remains, which were taken to Visoko Cemetery after the exhumation, where they will stay until the final identification,” stated Cengic.
She recalled that these remains were recently found by deminers of the Federal Civil Protection during the process of demining.
“Today we searched the wider locality, however, we have not found any other remains,” said Cengic.
The exhumation was, by the order of the Court of BiH, managed by the Prosecution Office of BiH.
