Zvizdic spoke with the Director of the World Bank

12992849_1757593714477305_439260241_nChairman of the Council of Ministers of BiH Denis Zvizdic met yesterday in Washington with the Executive Director of the World Bank, Frank Heemskerk. He introduced him with the progress of BiH in the process of EU integration and the degree of realization of the objectives from the economic reform agenda.

Chairman Zvizdic praised cooperation and said that the World Bank is one of the most important institutional investors in post-war reconstruction and transition processes in BiH with more than 2.4 billion USD invested in B&H. He also emphasized the importance of consulting support that we receive in various fields.

They discussed the projects that are being implemented in B&H and emphasized the visible progress in the implementation of reforms.

Director Heemskerk emphasized that it is necessary to encourage economic reforms in the following period as well. He also emphasized the importance and positive effects of the project the Development Policy Loan (DPL).

Chairman Zvizdic stated that the priorities of BiH is youth employment and investment in communications infrastructure, as well as the energy sector.
