In the organization of the Federal Ministry of Displaced Persons and Refugees, a cooperation agreement will be signed in Gorazde, defining four subprojects to be implemented in the BPK area under the CEB II Project – Closure of Collective Centers and Alternative Accommodation.

The agreement will be signed by the Federal Minister of Displaced Persons and Refugees Edin Ramic with Prime Minister of BPK Gorazde Emir Okovic and the respective cantonal ministry Sabir Beslija and Mayor of Gorazde Muhamed Ramovic.

The agreement states the implementation of three subprojects for buildings owned by the City of Gorazde and one subproject for a property owned by Bosansko-Podrinje Canton, whose total value is close to 5.5 million Euros.

Funds were secured from a credit of almost EUR 2.7 million, while the rest of the funds contributed to the city and the canton by securing land and permits and joining the infrastructure.

The agreement encompasses the reconstruction of 65 existing housing units for 191 users and the construction of a new residential building with 24 residential units in which 49 people will be accommodated.

It also includes the reconstruction of the existing and the construction of a new part of the Old Town house in Gorazde with accommodation capacity of 80 beneficiaries with accompanying infrastructure.
