The third cycling “MTB Marathon” started from the Mehmed-Pasha Sokolović Bridge in Višegrad, and gathered more than 150 cyclists from Bosnia and Herzegovina and Serbia.
The Mayor of Višegrad Mladen Đurević greeted the participants, wished them good luck, and declared the marathon open.
The president of the “MTB Višegrad” Association, Igor Mučibabić, said that the youngest participants ride on a seven and a half kilometer track.
The second path is 15 kilometers long and goes to the Višegrad spa, and the third is 33 kilometers and the cyclists go to Velje Lug and back to Višegrad.
Mučibabić stated that Višegrad has very good conditions for recreation and sports, hiking and cycling, and that they are trying to gather as many people as possible and raise the event to a higher level.
The sponsor of this sports event is the municipality of Višegrad.
