Alma Ferovic Fazlic, Voice Assistant at the Academy of Performing Arts, University of Sarajevo, is the winner of the Honorary Award Associate of the Royal Academy of Music in London.

With this, her ten-year work is “crowned”, who, after studying in London and many years of professional activity around the world, upon her return to Sarajevo founded the Institute of Music, Theater and Multimedia (iMTM), an educational platform primarily for music theater that did not exist. iMTM is today a licensed representative of Rockschool in London. She is the producer and music director of the first and most popular musicals in BiH, including: “Brilliant”, “Footloose”, “Dirty Dancing”, “Annie” and “Flashdance”, and the gala concert “Broadway-West End Musicals 80”. performed at the National Theater in Sarajevo, the Bosnian National Theater in Zenica, the Youth Theater in Sarajevo, and the Bosnian Cultural Center in Sarajevo, and all productions were guests in Croatia, N1 reports.

The Academy’s mission is to provide pre-professional, undergraduate and postgraduate musical training of the highest national and international standards. We aim to enrich musical culture by training and educating the most talented musicians.

Each year the Academy confers honorary awards to recognise those who have contributed significantly to the music profession or to the Academy itself.

The Academy was founded in 1822, and ever since has trained versatile and resourceful musicians with the skills they need in the ever-changing profession.

Great traditions do not guarantee future success, but at the Academy they do inspire us to achieve an especially happy blend of continuity and cutting-edge work.
