From Monday, citizens of Bosnia and Herzegovina will be able to travel to Slovenia without the obligation of a 10-day quarantine if they have a negative PCR test for coronavirus, which was done in one of the EU countries.

This was agreed at today’s session of the Government of the Republic of Slovenia, and as part of the liberalization of travel for citizens of countries with the so-called orange and red lists, Klix.ba news portal reports.

“A person who enters Slovenia and resides in the countries on the red or orange list or comes from those countries will be quarantined for a period of ten days due to the possibility of coronavirus infection. However, the quarantine will not be ordered if the person shows a negative test at the time of transition. The test must not be older than 48 hours and must be performed in an EU country or a Schengen country, “said the Government of the Republic of Slovenia.

Exceptions in this new rule are registered workers, carriers of goods, passengers in transit and similar. The decision takes effect on Monday, September 28, 2020.
