Yesterday in Sarajevo there was a ceremony to hand out certificates for 21 people, scholars of Foundation Hastor. They attended and passed the “Program for Development of Interns”.

Hastor Foundation organizes this education program for young graduates and postgraduates for the second year with the support of ASA and Prevent Group. The three-week training is organized for scholars with university diplomas but without work experience in order to facilitate their first encounter with the labor market and increase their competitiveness.

During this intensive program, they went through 17 modules from the area of business skills, business law, corporate communications, fundamentals of sales and management, human resource management, and presentation skills and project management.

“All modules were presented by top experts, who have successfully relayed their rich knowledge. That would help us show our knowledge in our future employment, as well as readiness and motivation for further learning and improvement. We will try to set an example to motive young scholars on the importance of learning and commitment’’, said Edita Mujezin, a scholar from Foundation Hastor.

Hastor Foundation provides an additional support to scholars that successfully complete this program. The Foundation supports them to start practical experience in one of ASA Prevent companies or other companies that are friends of  Hastor Foundation. Therefore, almost all attendees of the last year’s program started their praxis and almost all became now full time employees.

“Compliance with education and economy is a priority in the development of every society in the 21st century. The activities of Hastor Foundation in support of young people and to ensure internships are good indicators and a much better example that should serve as a model to many BiH companies’’, said Sarajevo Canton Minister for Education, Science and Youth Damir Marjanović at the ceremony.

Hastor Foundation believe that certificates of this unique program, accepted in the business community, would be a guarantee that students have the skills and knowledge necessary to work in the 21st century, said at the ceremony.
