Chairman of the Council of Ministers of BiH Denis Zvizdić spoke with the Ambassador of the USA to BiH Maureen Cormack, who congratulated him on the finalizing of the text of Coordination Mechanism and fulfilling the last condition for the obtaining of the questionnaire for membership in the European Union.
Chairman Zvizdić said that he believes that Bosnia and Herzegovina will be on the agenda of the General Affairs Council of the European Union on September 20. Zvizdić highlighted that obtaining of the questionnaire will provide the necessary support that will propel the processes which will bring BiH closer to the official candidacy for membership in the EU.
Chairman Zvizdić and Ambassador Cormack exchanged opinions about the current political situation in BiH.
Zvizdić informed the Ambassador Cormack about the degree of implementation of tasks from the Reform Agenda and said that 53 percent of total measures within the juridsiction of the Council of Ministers of BiH has been implemented. He also announced the departure to the USA for the annual IMF and World Bank Assembly in October this year and said that the Council of Ministers of BiH will continue working intensely on cooperation with international monetary institutions.
Ambassador Cormack expressed full support of the USA to all activities that lead BiH towards fulfilling of the conditions for accession to the large European family, stated the Council of Ministers of BiH.
