A Man was killed in a Shooting on Wilson’s Promenade in Sarajevo

Around 4:50 p.m., a firearm was used in Wilson’s Promenade, Centar municipality area.

As Mersiha Novalić, spokeswoman for the Canton Sarajevo Ministry of Interior, confirmed to Klix.ba, one person was killed.

“On that occasion, one man died, whose death was confirmed at the scene by a doctor from the Emergency Medical Aid Institute. The man who used the weapon is under police control. The duty prosecutor of the KTKS has been informed,” Novalić said.

The police are in the field where they are investigating, and more information about the circumstances, the motive, as well as the identity of the murdered person and the attacker, will be known after the end of the investigation.
