A welcome Reception for the Participants of the 9th SBF held Yesterday Night

A welcome reception for the participants of the 9th Sarajevo Business Forum was held in the City Hall, whose rich three-day program officially starts tomorrow in the building of the Parliament of BiH. Sarajevo Mayor Abdulah Skaka and BBI Bank Director Amer Bukvić welcomed the attendees and reminded of the significance of this business and investment conference for Sarajevo, BiH, as well as all the countries of the region that are presented to foreign investors under the slogan “One region, one economy“.

Mayor Abdulah Skaka welcomed the audience in Sarajevo with a message that they came to the center of the region. “I am happy to be the mayor of the town who hosts the Forum, the Sarajevo Busines Forum. I welcome all those who are here for the first time, but certainly those who come back to the SBF. I wish everyone a successful business and I hope for Sarajevo and yours business advances,”said Skaka, and in his address, he thanked BBI Bank Director Amer Bukvic for his continued promotion of Sarajevo.

“This is the ninth time that Bosna Bank International (BBI) is organizing Sarajevo Business Forum, in co-operation with the Islamic Development Bank (IDB). This year we have largest numbers so far. More than 1,800 participants at the Forum, and 360 accredited media representatives that follow our work. In the next three days we will present the largest number of projects so far, 225. I hope that SBF will continue to host business people, businessmen and investors from all over the world and that we will continue to be a bridge between them and the South East Europe, ” said Amer Bukvić, CEO of Bosna Bank International.

The special awards of the City of Sarajevo were also presented to foreign investors and businessmen, for the extraordinary role in promoting the business environment in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
