Ambassador of BiH to Australia Spoke With Prime Minister Julia Gillard

The BiH Ambassador of BiH to Australia, Damir Arnaut, spoke with the Prime Minister of Australia, Julia Gillard, at a reception marking Australia Day.

Ambassador Arnaut thanked Prime Minister Gillard for Australia’s recent decision begin talks on the Agreement for Social Security with BiH. They first spoke about this issue over a year ago, where Prime Minister Gillard expressed her full support to begin negotiations early.

Ambassador Arnaut conveyed his gratitude to Prime Minister Gillard for BiH citizens who have waited for the progress of this priority issue since 2007 when BiH suggested the Agreement.

Prime Minister Gillard expressed her satisfaction that progress has been made in the interest of Australian citizens who are originally from BiH.
