Analysis of the Export and Import in the first Three Months of 2017

POLAND-RUSSIA-APPLES-EMBARGOIn the period January-March 2017, export amounted to 2 billion 489 million BAM, which is 17,4% higher than in the same period of 2016, and import amounted to 3 billion 976 million BAM, which is 12,7% higher than in the same period of last year.

The coverage of import by export was 62,6% and foreign trade in goods deficit amounted to 1 billion 487 million BAM. Export to CEFTA countries amounted to 377 million BAM, which is 41,2% higher than in the same period of 2016, while import amounted to 493 million BAM, which is 8,6% higher than in the same period of last year.

The coverage of import by export was 76,5%. Export to EU countries amounted to 1 billion 817 million BAM, which is 13,4% higher than in the same period of 2016, while import amounted to 2 billion 457 million BAM, which is 12,8% higher than in the same period of last year. The coverage of import by export was 73,9%.

In the period January-December 2016, export amounted to 9 billion 417 million BAM, which is 4,8% higher than in the same period of 2015, and import amounted to 16 billion 139 million BAM, which is 1,8% higher than in the same period of last year.

The coverage of import by export was 58,3% and foreign trade in goods deficit amounted to 6 billion 723 million BAM. Export to CEFTA countries amounted to 1 billion 394 million BAM, which is 4,4% higher than in the same period of 2015, while import amounted to 2 billion 69 million BAM, which is 5,7% higher than in the same period of last year.

The coverage of import by export was 67,4%. Export to EU countries amounted to 6 billion 734 million BAM, which is 4,4% higher than in the same period of 2015, while import amounted to 10 billion 7 million BAM, which is 3,8% higher than in the same period of last year. The coverage of import by export was 67,3%.
