Analysis: Highest and Lowest Salaries in the Region

According to analysis, the highest average salary paid in the region amounted to 1,020.40 euros in Slovenia, and the lowest in Macedonia only 363.80 euros (22 460 dinars).

According to the latest statistics, the average wage in Croatia amounted to 749.70 euros (5,642 Kuna), in Montenegro 503 Euros, in BiH 428 euros (837 BAM), and in Serbia 369.70 Euros (45,767 Dinars).

The average wage in Slovenia was 1020.40 euros according to data for October last year, and is for 15,2 Euros less than the wage at the same time paid a year earlier.

Moreover, according to the data from October last year, the average salary in Croatia was decreased for 12,3 Euros.

In addition to being the lowest in the region, the average salary in Macedonia, was for 9.20 Euros less than the one paid in the end of 2015, or the beginning of last year. The last paid was 363.80 Euros, while in the previous years it amounted to 373 Euros.

The average salary in BiH is reduced as well, and to 2.5 Euros less than previous years. Namely, according to the latest data for September last year, the average salary amounted to 428 Euros, while at the end of 2015 amounted to 430.50 Euros.

On the other side, there is a constant growth of average salary in Montenegro, which has grown over the last year to 13 Euros. At the beginning of last year, it amounted to 490 euros, while according to November last year it amounted to 503 Euros.

Despite it has grown what has grown the most in the region, even 42,70 Euros, the average salary in Serbia is still among the lowest in the region. According to the statistics, at the beginning of last year it amounted to 327 euros, while according to the latest data for November last year it amounted to 369.70 euros.
