One victim of the past war, who was killed in the genocide committed in Srebrenica in the summer of 1995, was identified today in the premises of the Podrinja identification project in Tuzla.

Mušan (Rame) Šiljković, born in 1956 in Vlasenica, has been identified.

He disappeared in the area of Zvornik in July 1995. Six years later, in 2001, his remains were exhumed from a mass grave in Liplje near Zvornik.

The victim was first identified through the DNA method, and that identity was officially confirmed today by family members.

After the identification was completed, the family gave consent for the burial of this victim on July 11 at the collective funeral in the Srebrenica Memorial Center.
