Aleksandar VucicArrival of Prime Minister of Serbia Aleksandar Vucic to Sarajevo is an important step for the development of the Serb-Bosniak dialogue, says Foreign Minister of BiH Igor Crnadak. Vucic’s arrival in Sarajevo at this time is very important for the development of relations between BiH and Serbia, adds Crnadak.

“I am confident that Vucic’s visit will be in a completely quiet, safe and positive atmosphere. I expect to have a double effect related to the relations between BiH and Serbia and that it will be executed through the Prime Ministers’ Conference. All of this should contribute to the quality of the preparation of the region for conference in Trieste,” said Crnadak.

He stresses the importance of the candidacy of the current Prime Minister of Serbia for Presidency and his arrival to Sarajevo after a meeting with German Chancellor Angela Merkel on which, according to Crnadak, there was talk about the Western Balkans and Bosnia and Herzegovina.

“I see all the happenings as good and positive signals for everyone in BiH. We should contribute to the strengthening of mutual trust and look to the future together. The priority of Serbia is to preserve stability, lasting peace and economic development for the entire region. I think Vucic will confirm once again the commitment of Serbia for a peaceful and successful BiH”, said the Minister of Foreign Affairs.

The Chairman of the Council of Ministers Denis Zvizdić will host the Summit of Prime Ministers of the Western Balkans, which is to take place on 16th March in Sarajevo.

The aim of the Summit is to bring the countries of the Western Balkans to the European Union and talk about the regional projects related to transport and energy infrastructure, as well as cooperation in the fields of youth and education.

The premieres of the Republic of Serbia, Montenegro, Macedonia and Kosovo have confirmed their arrival.

Summit will be attended by the EU Commissioner for Enlargement and Neighborhood Policy Johannes Hahn and the representative of the Government of Italy, the host country of the Summit of the Western Balkans which is to be held in Trieste in July this year, announced the Council of Ministers.
