Average Net Salary in Republika Srpska in January amounts to 1,593 BAM

The average net salary in the Republika Srpska in January amounted to 1,593 BAM and compared to the same month last year, it is nominally higher by about 11 percent, according to the data of the Republic Institute of Statistics.

Compared to December last year, the average salary in January is nominally higher by 0.8 percent.

The average monthly gross salary in January was 2,457 BAM.

The highest average net salary was paid in the field of information and communication and amounted to 2,107 BAM, and the lowest in the field of providing accommodation, food preparation and serving, hotel and catering, 1,183 BAM.

In January of this year, compared to January last year, nominal growth in net wages was recorded in 18 out of 19 areas, of which the highest was in the areas of professional, scientific and technical activities by 20.1 percent, agriculture, forestry and fishing by 17.2 percent and other service activities by 15.5 percent.

A nominal decrease in net salary was registered only in the area of ​​administrative and auxiliary service activity, 4.5 percent.
