Basic beat Belgian Coppejans in the First Round of the ATP Tournament in St Remy

BasicBH tennis player Mirza Basic qualified for the next round of 42,500 EUR worth ATP tournament in St Remy (France).

Basic yesterday defeated the 8th holder of the tournament, Belgian Kimmer Coppejans, with the result 7: 5, 6: 1.

He will play in the next round with Yannick Hanfmann from Germany, who was better than Croat Ante Pavic with the score 6: 3, 6: 3.

Basic achieved his latest victory at the end of July on the Challenger in Spain where he reached the semi-finals, and then followed performances at the Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro and qualifiers for the US Open, where he was stopped at the beginning of the tournament.

Aldin Setkic will also perform at this tournament, and he will play his first round match against French Mathias Bourgue on Wednesday.

The best BH tennis player Damir Dzumhur will perform at the Challenger in the Dutch Alphen aan den Rijn. Dzumhur is the second holder and he will meet in the first round with Austrian Bastian Trinker. They should also play on Wednesday.
