B&H Presidency Members Received the Chief Prosecutor of ICTY Brammertz

predsjedniciMembers of  B&H Presidency received the Chief Prosecutor of the International Criminal Tribunal for the former Yugoslavia (ICTY ), Serge Brammertz.

B&H Chairman of the Presidency Željko Komšić and members of the B&H Presidency Bakir Izetbegović and Nebojša Radmanović welcomed the Hague tribunal Chief Prosecutor Serge Brammertz. His stay in B&H is part of preparations for a regular report that will be submitted this year to the Security Council of the United Nations.

Also, at the meeting the work of the prosecution office in Hague was discussed, which is assessed as very successful and the cooperation of our country with the Office for the prosecution of the International Criminal Tribunal for the former Yugoslavia (ICTY ) in the Hague is assessed at a high level.

Brammertz pointed out that one of the objectives of his visit to our country is to support the work of the War Crimes Prosecutor’s Office of B&H in the prosecution of war crimes, and stressed the support of the work of local authorities in carrying out their work .
