talgoRailways of the FBiH today officially released Talgo trains into railway passenger traffic, which will now operate on the route Sarajevo – Doboj.

It is a modern, high-speed train that provides passengers with outstanding comfort and convenience on the model of the most modern European trains, and it was named “BH Train”.

“BH Train” will depart from Sarajevo at 4:28 pm and arrive in Doboj at 7:35 pm, while the departure of the train from Doboj will be at 3:49 am and arrival in Sarajevo at 6:53 am. Ticket prices will remain the same, and will be increased for the amount of the reservation.

Stations at which the train will receive its passengers are Sarajevo, Visoko, Kakanj, Zenica, Zepce, Zavidovici, Maglaj and Doboj.

On this route, the passengers traveling from Tuzla to Sarajevo and vice versa will be enabled to have a good quality connection to Doboj with “BH Train”, which will practically involve Tuzla in this project.

Capacity of “BH Train” is 237 seats (200 seats of II class, 36 seats of I class, and one seat for the disabled persons).

It is planned to extend the current route to Banja Luka. After the overhaul of the so-called “Southern railway”, it is planned to introduce “BH Train” on the route Sarajevo-Mostar-Capljina, and in the summer on the route Sarajevo-Ploce. Negotiations with Croatian Railways are currently taking place to introduce “BH Train” to the international route Sarajevo-Zagreb.
