The Council of Ministers of BiH has forwarded a decision on temporary financing of BHANSA, an agency whose accounts were blocked by a decision of the Court in Brussels at the request of ‘Viaduct’, so that this company could finally function normally and service its current liabilities.
According to this decision, the obligations of the institutions of BiH to temporarily secure funds for the functioning of BHANSA are determined. However, according to the financial plan, a total of 60,108,155 BAM is approved for BHANSA.
The decision will be published in the Official Gazette of BiH today, and the Council of Ministers sent it on Friday.
We learn that the BHANSA Management has already sent a monthly tranche to the Ministry of Finance, in accordance with the adopted BHANSA Financial Plan and the execution in the previous period. This is about five million BAM that will be paid to them. This decision is on a temporary basis and the money will be returned when the funds are unblocked for BHANSA.
By the way, BHANSA’s accounts were blocked due to the RS debt to the Slovenians by the decision of the Court in Brussels on March 21.
By hiring a lawyer who was paid by the Council of Ministers to act on the enforcement, the account was blocked and no one can dispose of the money from BHANSA. Neither the Slovenians nor the BiH side.
Employees’ salaries were reduced by 20 percent this month, and the final decision on paying the debt to the Slovenians has not yet been reached. Yesterday, the BiH Presidency returned the budget for further revision, which planned to settle the debt from the profits of the Central Bank of BiH.
On the other hand, interest rates continue to rise. They amount to 18,000 BAM per day. The debt to the Slovenians will soon be almost 115 million BAM.
