BHDCA did not yet allow Air Montenegro to establish Flights from Tuzla?

The Bosnia and Herzegovina Directorate of Civil Aviation (BHDCA) has not yet issued a designation to the airline for the establishment of flights from the Tuzla International Airport. According to information available to the public, the airline in question is Air Montenegro.

After the airline company Wizz Air made the decision to close its base in Tuzla, the management of the International Airport there began to actively search for a new carrier that would establish traffic.

The Montenegrin airline Air Montenegro showed the most interest in this, with which the way of doing business was recently defined. However, the contract has not yet been signed due to waiting for the necessary permits to be obtained.

The Montenegrin state airline is still waiting for a license from BHDCA, and in parallel, direct talks are being held with all directorates of countries whose airports are potential destinations for flights from the Tuzla International Airport.

As previously announced, the new airline should have one base plane stationed in Tuzla, and flights to ten destinations are planned.

At the very beginning, a total of 20 flights per week should be operated. The plan is to establish traffic from Tuzla by the end of this year, i.e. in the winter flight schedule, Klix.ba reports.
