On the second day of the Munich Security Conference, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Elmedin Konaković, held a bilateral meeting today with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Spain, José Manuel Albares Bueno.

Konaković expressed his gratitude for the continuous and strong support of Spain in the European integration process of Bosnia and Herzegovina, especially in the acquisition of candidate status.

Both sides are determined to strengthen mutual bilateral relations through various fields, especially economy and tourism.

The continuation of support for the enlargement policy as well as the European perspective of Bosnia and Herzegovina was announced.

The visit of the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Spain to Bosnia and Herzegovina was agreed.

In principle, the visit is planned to take place in May, just before Spain takes over the presidency of the Council of the European Union.
