The Council of Ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina, at the 7th extraordinary telephone session held today, adopted the Decision on providing international assistance for protection and rescue to the Government of the Republic of Slovenia in remediating the consequences of the floods that have so far claimed six lives and caused enormous material damage.

The decision approves the deployment of two protection and rescue teams from Bosnia and Herzegovina, the team of the Federal Administration of Civil Protection of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina and the team of the Republican Administration of Civil Protection of the Republika Srpska, with heavy machinery and the necessary personnel.

The Council of Ministers also adopted a Decision on approving funds from the current reserve budget of the institutions of Bosnia and Herzegovina and international obligations of Bosnia and Herzegovina for the purpose of financing the costs of teams from Bosnia and Herzegovina during the provision of international assistance to the Government of the Republic of Slovenia in the amount of 350,000 BAM. By the decision in question, the amount of 200,000 BAM is transferred to the Federal Administration of Civil Protection, and the amount of 150,000 BAM to the Republic Administration of Civil Protection.
