“There are already members of certain armies in Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH), and I would not want to say from where. They are completely sufficient in addition to EUFOR to ensure security,” BiH Defense Minister Zukan Helez said last night.
“When the visit took place, SNSD cadres were ordered not to come to the meeting. When they saw that Vucic and Brnabic met in Serbia, Dodik then snapped at Kristo that she did not invite them to the meeting,” Helez said.
When asked about the additional engagement of certain military forces on the territory of BiH for the sake of peacekeeping, Helez said:
“There are already members of certain armies in BiH, and I would not want to say from where. They are completely sufficient in addition to EUFOR to provide security. I know who we have and what we have, I can tell the citizens to be calm and peaceful. This is a completely peaceful and stable country”.
“These are members of the Armed Forces of certain countries. They are currently present in BiH,” Helez said.
Helez said that there is no reason for anyone to be afraid of Milorad Dodik because he is “a man near the end of his political career”.
“Unlike Miletic, who only forecasts and announces, I am working to ensure that it does not happen. This increased current number of members is the result of that work. I lobbied for it and went around the world. Milorad Dodik is a man near the end. He has nowhere to go, the sanctions have taken their toll. Their salaries are late, and Republika Srpska‘s (RS) debt is so great that it is about to collapse. Now that man is on his knees, but we should be afraid? There is no reason to be afraid.”
He also pointed out that the Armed Forces of BiH (AFBiH) have never been better.
“The AFBiH have never been better off. The AFBiH have higher incomes than the Turkish Armed Forces. We have learned to only say something when things are bad, but that is not true. We have a problem with public procurement. I haven’t solved it yet, and I’m on the way to solving it. I went to London, we copied from them how public procurement is done and now we’re going to do it too.”, N1 reports.
